CLEVELAND - - When it concerns particular outside sports, the NWS has a list of those sports with the most lightning deaths.

The NWS recently released a different list about basic outside activities that have the most lightning deaths, which include roofing, being at the beach, and more.

What about sports?


The NWS, utilized national stats to compile its list.

Soccer is at the top.

The NWS Cleveland prompts that if see lightning, or perhaps if you do not, but hear thunder, "leave the field immediately.".

The NWS encourages, "When thunder roars, go indoors.".
