Texas Water Fund aims to enhance state's water system

" Two cities that were actually combined-- they shared one collective water supply-- they just had one well overall, which well went out," Bailes stated.

Election Results

According to the Texas Water Development Board, the present existing water supply is inadequate to meet future demand in dry spell situations. For point of view, the total storage capability of Lake Travis is 1.92 million acre-feet.

Proposal 6 will enact S.B. 28, which would amend current law that associates with programs administered and financial assistance provided by the Texas Water Development Board.

Texans voted on numerous constitutional modifications, such as Proposition 6, in the Nov. 7 constitutional amendment election.
