The collision claimed the life of a woman from Orange, who was seated in the front passenger seat. The driver responsible for this tragic accident, identified as 18-year-old Roberto Noe Monfil Xitlama from Orange, was found to be driving without a license. He was evaluated at a hospital for minor injuries and later underwent a preliminary breath test, revealing a blood alcohol level more than double the legal limit.

Legal Consequences

Monfil Xitlama has since been arrested and charged with gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated. He is currently booked at the Orange County Jail as the Traffic Unit continues its investigation.
