In a heartbreaking incident that unfolded early Wednesday morning, a laborer lost his life due to a trench collapse at a construction site near Scripps Ranch High School. The accident occurred around 4 a.m. at the intersection of Hoyt Park Drive and Scripps Ranch Boulevard, as reported by the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department (SDFRD).
