Two fires break out in Calaveras County as fire crews battle the Aero Fire

(FOX40.COM)-- As teams continue to fight the Aero Fire, firefighters reacted to 2 other wildfires that stimulated within 15 miles of each other in Calaveras County.

At 1:21 p.m. on Wednesday, firefighters showed up to the scene of a one-acre vegetation fire in the neighborhood of Burson near the 5000 block of Carol Lane. CAL FIRE stated the fire threatened one structure, but forward development was stopped over an hour later.

East of the Carol Fire was the Young Fire, which was 3 acres near Highway 26 and Paloma Road in the community of Paloma, officials stated.

CAL FIRE reported at 1:41 p.m. that forward progress was stopped on the Young Fire.
