Two-vehicle crash in southeast Nebraska claims life of Wymore woman

MGN OnlineLINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)-- A lady has died as the outcome of a crash north of Fairbury.

Jefferson County deputies say they were called to a two-vehicle crash Friday night at the east junction of Highway 4 and Highway 15.

An examination showed a 1999 Suzuki Esteem was going west on Highway 4 when it collided with a southbound 1997 Toyota Xtracab on Highway 15.

The guest of the Esteem, Angelica Edwards-Kouma of Wymore, was noticable dead at the scene.

The motorists of both cars suffered injuries that were not life-threatening. They were taken to the Jefferson Community Health and Life hospital for treatment.

The Nebraska State Patrol is reconstructing the crash, which stays under investigation.
