However, Salcido disputes one particular lawsuit filed in Harris County by Hitesh Amin, claiming she was in active communication about a payment plan prior to the lawsuit's filing in 2021.

She only discovered a default judgment against her while checking on a lien placed on her property earlier this year. “And if you don’t get served properly, how can you show up to a court you have no knowledge of?” she questioned.
