Warming up Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Rusty Dawkins,

We are going to warm back up as we head into the weekend. Highs will be 5 to 15 degrees above average Friday, Saturday, and specifically Sunday. Precipitation opportunities are little, but a short shower is possible Saturday morning, then again late next week.

Temperatures Friday early morning will be really close to normal for early March. Most of us will be in the 20s with partly cloudy skies and a light breeze.

The heat up begins Friday afternoon with half of the state warmer than the other. Highs in the eastern half will remain in the upper 40s and lower 50s with the western half in the 30s and 40s.

For Lincoln, temperature levels will begin in the upper and middle 20s with a light breeze. The wind will stay light all day and we’& rsquo; ll see primarily bright skies for much of the day. The high will enter the middle 50s.

There will be a weak disruption drifting through early Saturday early morning, offering us an opportunity for light rain to the light and south snow to the north. Most of us will remain dry.
