Bandwagon
Another brand-new tenant coming to downtown Trussville is Bandwagon, a sports shop that carries apparel, devices and community sports merchandise. The upcoming Trussville area will be the 4th Bandwagon store because their inception in early 2021, alongside present areas in Vestavia Hills, Homewood and
Madison, MS.
According to the Trussville Tribune, the shop will be opening a momentary area on September 4 at 7129 Gadsden Hwy while its permanent place is under building. The irreversible place is being constructed on a lot at the corner of N Chalkville Road and Main Street and is expected to open in 2024.
Maple Avenue Coffee House

It's (practically) back after popular need-- Velma's will be re-opening after more than 10 years because closing in 2012. The initial Velma's, named after the owner's wife, opened in 1938 and became a go-to neighborhood area for hamburgers, beer and karaoke.
Now, brand-new owners Tammy and Royce Butler are putting the ending up discuss the new and enhanced bar. This one's for you if you have a sweet tooth. The Peach Cobbler Factory will be opening soon at 5870 Trussville Crossings Blvd near Kohl's and Sam's Club. This sweet new area uses all type of deals with including fruit cobblers, banana pudding and cinnamon rolls. While no opening date has been launched, remain upgraded on their Facebook page for announcements and more.
Walk-on's Bistreaux & & Bar Walk

Thought up by LSU basketball walk-ons Brandon Landry and Jack Warner, Walk-on's Bistreaux & & Bar is a sports bar that dishes out Louisiana-inspired bar food, mixed drinks and burgers. The upcoming Trussville place will be the third Walk-on's in the Birmingham location together with the Greystone and Hoover locations. Have a look at the menu and more on their site.

In a recent statement on Facebook, Paul's Hot Dogs & & Grill has chosen to close their doors. The dining establishment was established by Martin "Paul" LaRussa in 1993 and served the neighborhood for 30 years.
" It is with excellent unhappiness that we close our doors today. We love each and every one of you and value the support you all have actually provided us for 30 years.".

While the restaurant might be closing, this may not be the end of the Paul's Hot Dogs & & Grill tradition. According to Abby LaRussa in The Trussville Tribune, they are considering doing a food truck rather. There is a GoFundMe set up for residents and clients of Paul's to donate towards buying a food truck and getting it up and running.
