Winter weather condition headings are in place for much of Nebraska tonight through Wednesday into early Thursday morning.
Winter Season Storm Warnings (pink) use up the northwestern half of the state with Winter Weather Advisories (purple) for much of the southeastern and southern half.
Blizzard Warnings aren’& rsquo; t too far away into South Dakota. It’& rsquo; s something we & rsquo; re enjoying carefully for those in northern Nebraska.

The advisories and cautions (above) remain in location for all of Wednesday and may last into extremely early Thursday morning.


Above are the timelines for when the wind, rain, sleet/ice, and snow will be possible in
Lincoln.
The rainfall won’& rsquo; t be a throughout the day occasion, however it & rsquo; s possible on and off.
Freezing drizzle and freezing rain is possible with 0.01″ & Prime; to 0.05 & Prime; of ice build-up possible.
The cold will be pressing in Wednesday and will be at its coldest early Thursday morning. The wind chill (above) will be precariously cold.
Since of the potential wind and cold, a Wind Chill Advisory (light blue), Wind Chill Warning (light pink), and Wind Chill Watch (light green) are in place Wednesday into Thursday.
After it’& rsquo; s all said and done, the snowfall capacity is at it’& rsquo; s highest in western and northern Nebraska.
Central Nebraska might see a few inches of snow and SE Nebraska will only see minimal quantities.
