1 dead, 3 hurt in Altanta shooting, authorities say

ATLANTA-- One individual was fatally shot and a minimum of three others hurt Wednesday in a shooting in a Midtown Atlanta structure, authorities stated.

Atlanta cops said there had actually been no extra shots fired because the preliminary shooting unfolded inside a structure on West Peachtree Street, between 13th and 12th Streets, a commercial area with numerous office complex and high-rise homes. Cops sent out an image of the person thought to be the shooter. The individual was using dark pants and a light colored hoodie with the hood brought up. They had a mask on their face and appeared to be using a bag throughout their front.

Authorities stated the person is believed to be equipped and hazardous and asked anybody with info on the individual's whereabouts to call 911.

Police prompted anyone in the location to protect their building and shelter in place.
