2 students wounded in Texas HS shooting; suspect detained

ARLINGTON, Texas-- Two trainees were injured in a shooting outside a Dallas-area high school on Monday early morning and authorities arrested the individual presumed of opening fire, authorities stated.

The shooting began on a high school campus in the suburban area of Arlington around 6:55 a.m., prior to numerous trainees arrived for the first day back to classes after the spring break, according to police and school district authorities.

One student was injured by gunfire, another was hurt by "particles from the shooting," and both are getting healthcare, said Arlington Independent School District spokesperson Anita Foster. She might not immediately provide more info on the trainee's conditions or identities.

Arlington police said the thought shooter never got in the Lamar High School structure and was jailed right after officers gotten here on the scene. They stated the scene was safe in a tweet at 7:21 a.m
