A dark cloud has settled over Anaheim as the community grapples with the shocking murder of 26-year-old Christopher Monge. This incident, which unfolded on a seemingly normal evening, has sparked an intense investigation leading to the arrest of three suspects.
On August 12, 2024, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Anaheim Police Dispatch received alarming reports of a shooting in the 900 block of N. Siesta Street. Responding officers, alongside Anaheim Fire & Rescue personnel, rushed to the scene, where they found Christopher Monge unresponsive in front of a residence.
Despite immediate first aid efforts at the scene, Monge succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds shortly after being transported to a nearby hospital. The devastating loss has left family and friends reeling, as they seek answers in the wake of this tragedy.
