Disneyland is broadening the May the Fourth unofficial Star Wars vacation into a monthlong event of all things connected to the 1970s sci-fi impressive science fiction that has actually generated film sequels, tv shows, fan conventions and amusement park lands.
Hyperspace Mountain will go back to the Anaheim amusement park from May 1 to June 3 as part of Star Wars Month, according to the Disneyland social media channels.
Star Wars Month will include "epic encounters" and themed food and drink items influenced by the cinematic galaxy far, far away, according to Disneyland. The monthlong event is expected to take place in the Tomorrowland and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge themed lands.

A fleet of X-Wings, TIE fighters and Star Destroyers is heading back to Disneyland with the return of the Hyperspace Mountain takeover of the Space Mountain indoor roller coaster.
The May 1 start date offers Disneyland a couple of days to soak up the initial crowds sure to turn out for Hyperspace Mountain prior to the unofficial Star Wars Day on May 4-- as in May the Fourth be with you.
