Are you a veteran, service member, or military spouse looking to dive into the world of entrepreneurship? Mark your calendar for November 12, just a day after Veterans Day, as Fort Worth hosts a free, transformative workshop designed to equip you with essential business skills!
The one-day Boots to Business Reboot Workshop will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Devoyd Jennings Business Assistance Center, located at 1150 South Freeway, Suite 106. This exclusive event is limited to just 50 spots, so early registration is crucial!
This workshop is a remarkable partnership between the City of Fort Worth’s Economic Development Department, the Office of Veterans Affairs, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and the University of Texas at Arlington’s Veterans Business Outreach Center. Andrea Duffie, communications coordinator for the city’s Economic Development Department, emphasizes the importance of this initiative:

Participants will gain insights into:
Duffie adds, “As service members transition from the military into civilian life, it can be challenging for them to determine what’s next for them professionally. Many want to pursue entrepreneurship but find themselves unsure of how to get started.”
Advance registration is required for this seat-limited workshop. For more information or to secure your spot, click here or contact Bridget Moon at Bridget.Moon@SBA.gov.
