"Gang Members in Santa Ana Caught with Guns Hidden in Waistbands"

Breaking Now News: Gangbangers in Santa Ana

Recently, SAPD gang detectives encountered a group of known gang members loitering in the area of 1100 S. Standard Ave. When the detectives approached the group, they discovered a loaded firearm with an extended magazine tucked in one suspect's waistband.

The suspect was promptly arrested and booked at the Santa Ana jail for firearm and narcotic-related charges, with gang enhancements included.

These gang members clearly lack intelligence. Who in their right mind walks around with a gun in their waistband while also carrying illegal drugs?

Here's a memo to our local gangbangers: avoid hanging around in groups in public while carrying weapons and illegal substances. It won't end well for you!

But that's not all...

Due to a recent homicide investigation, SAPD patrol officers conducted a foot patrol in the area of 1200 W. Brook St. They encountered a known gang member who was on parole. Violating parole in California without a valid reason can lead to parole revocation and up to one year in prison. If the parolee is accused of violating parole after committing another crime, they could face additional charges and more jail time.

This particular suspect clearly had no regard for being on parole, as he was found with a loaded firearm in his waistband. It seems these gang members can't even afford legitimate gun holsters.

As expected, the suspect was arrested and booked at the Santa Ana Jail on multiple firearm and gang-related charges.

Another convicted Santa Ana gang member who just can't seem to break free from gang life. Off to prison once again, where they will have the pleasure of enjoying prison food for at least another year.

What do you think?

  • Should stricter penalties be enforced for gang-related crimes?
  • Is there enough support for individuals trying to leave gang life?
  • Do you believe harsher sentences deter gang activity?
