Guy hospitalized after shooting in Olathe Wednesday night


OLATHE, Kan.-- The Olathe Police Department is examining a shooting that sent one man to the medical facility Wednesday night..

Around 8:20 p.m. cops were called to the area of 127th Street and Mur-Len Road for a shooting.

When officers arrived on scene, they discovered an adult guy on the ground with a gunshot injury to his leg. Emergency crews took the guy to an area health center in steady condition.

OPD has actually not supplied any additional details about a prospective suspect, or what might have led up to the shooting.
