Nebraska Cornhuskers guard Jaz Shelley # 1.
WBB B1G Tournament Game 6 vs IllinoisCHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Nebraska Athletics) – – Jaz Shelley led 5 Huskers in double figures with 26 points on Wednesday night in a 90-57 Big Ten roadway win at No. 25 Illinois.
Isabelle Bourne added a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds as Nebraska created its most complete and constant performance of the season.
Nebraska improved to 15-13 total and 7-10 in the Big Ten while snapping a four-game losing streak.
Shelley starred from start to complete, striking 8 of 14 shots from the field, consisting of 6 of 11 3-pointers and all 4 of her complimentary toss attempts, while adding five rebounds and a game-high six helps.
Bourne, a 6-foot-2 forward from Canberra, Australia, was simply as efficient, hitting 8 of 13 shots while controling the glass for a Big Red unit that out-rebounded Illinois, 44-24 on the game, consisting of 29-12 in the 2nd half.

The Huskers held Kendall Bostic to 8 points – – all in the very first – half – while limiting the Big Ten's leading rebounder to simply three boards.
The Huskers held Illinois to simply 34.3% shooting on the night, consisting of 6 of 26 3-pointers. Illinois also knocked down five of 7 complimentary throws and committed just six turnovers.
