North Carolina guv vetoes masks costs mostly due to provision about project financing

RALEIGH, N.C.-- Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper has actually banned a North Carolina masking expense that formerly eliminated a pandemic-era exemption that enabled people to mask in public for health reasons. Cooper and Democrats objected to a campaign finance arrangement tacked onto the end of the expense that could permit wealthy donors to provide money to federal political committees who can then donate to state celebrations.
