Pro-Palestinian protesters march down Hillsborough Street to North Carolina State Capitol

RALEIGH, N.C. (BNN)-- Multiple protests about the war in Israel took place on college campuses in main North Carolina on Friday.
The very first happened at UNC where numerous trainees gathered calling for a ceasefire. The organizers of the protest recognized themselves as pro-Palestinian. They gathered in front of Wilson Library before marching north across the quad to South Building, where Chancellor Kevin Guskiewicz'& #x 27; s workplace is located.
There, they chanted and waved flags in assistance of Palestinians. At the South Building, advocates of Israel appeared to form a counter demonstration.
Demonstrations by supporters of both sides of the war have appeared all throughout main North Carolina in the weeks since the war started. One such protest even resulted in the closure of the Durham Freeway for numerous hours.
