2 South King County men were charged Tuesday with numerous guns offenses.
In a press release from U.S. Attorney Nick Brown, Dion Jamar Cooper, 31, of Kent, and De'ondre Lamontia Phillips, 32, of Federal Way, were charged for their declared involvement in purchasing 100 weapons connected to criminal activities.
" Schemes like this put our community at considerable threat," Brown said in a prepared declaration. "We will use all tools-- consisting of brand-new criminal statutes passed by Congress-- to stop such conduct,".
The investigation started in late January with the attack and tried burglary of a woman in Rainier Valley. Cops found a gun in her car that supposedly had actually been dropped by one of the aggressors.
