Next week, prepare for an exciting roundup of the best fall events and festivals happening right here in Summit County. From beloved traditions to family-friendly activities, there's something for everyone to enjoy!

Your Weekend Plans Are Here!

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Check out these incredible local events:

  • Friday the 13th Trivia Night: Test your scary movie knowledge at Northside Marketplace! Gather your friends, sip on cocktails at NOMZ, and see if you can be crowned the trivia slasher king or queen. The free event kicks off at 6 p.m.
  • Outdoor Screening of "Everything Everywhere All At Once": Join Nightlight for a magnificent outdoor film experience on Saturday night at the Maiden Lane Parking Deck (282 Maiden Lane). Doors open at 7 p.m., and the film begins at 8:30 p.m. This free event allows you to bring your favorite beverages from the DORA district. Registration is required!
  • Hidden History Hike at Cuyahoga Valley National Park: Experience the park like never before! Join a ranger for a 3.5-mile hike exploring the park’s hidden history and breathtaking vistas. The free event starts at 9 a.m., and pre-registration is essential. Don’t forget to wear sturdy shoes!

Discover the Art Before It’s Gone!

Art enthusiasts, listen up! Saturday marks the last chance to visit the summer exhibitions at Summit Artspace, including the captivating Kasumi retrospective, "Persistence of Vision." The galleries are open on Friday from noon to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Additionally, on Friday at 7 p.m., Summit Artspace will host a free screening of Kasumi's film "Shockwaves." She will join via Zoom for a special introduction and will be available for a Q&A session afterward. Don’t miss this unique opportunity!
