UTEP Basketball Coach Joe Golding to Lead Team in Operation Hardwood in Kuwait

UTEP basketball head coach Joe Golding is taking his talents overseas to Kuwait to participate in Operation Hardwood, a basketball tournament for U.S. soldiers stationed in various bases around Kuwait. Golding will be coaching one of the teams made up of U.S. soldiers, alongside other current and former basketball coaches.

Operation Hardwood provides an opportunity for soldiers to engage in friendly competition and build camaraderie through the game of basketball. It also allows coaches like Golding to give back and support the troops serving overseas.

During his time in Kuwait, Coach Golding will have the chance to reconnect with former colleagues and players, including former UTEP head coach Tim Floyd, who will also be coaching a team in the tournament.
