HOUSTON – Dozens of angry parents gathered outside West Briar Middle School this week, demanding immediate action from the Houston Independent School District (HISD) over what they call "dangerous safety lapses" that have put students at risk.
The protest follows multiple incidents, including an alleged unauthorized visitor gaining access to the school and reports of bullying escalating unchecked. Parents say HISD has failed to respond adequately, leaving students vulnerable.
