Mayhem in the monetary markets and worries of a recession might have kept gas costs from leaping this previous week, even as Americans embark on spring itinerary.

A gallon of gas was $3.44 on average, according to AAA gas price data. Stacker assembled stats on gas costs in Nevada. Gas costs are since March 24.

As long as oil costs remain minimized as they are today, costs at the pump could stay suppressed for drivers, according to AAA representative Andrew Gross. Colorado, Delaware, Ohio, Michigan, and Nevada all saw the largest weekly reductions in retail gas costs.
