When a Night Out in Austin Goes Wrong

You have to love a good night out in Austin, Texas. There are some great bars, great people, and great times to be had, but even the best night can go south in the blink of an eye.

It seems like no night out in Austin is complete without some sort of fight, and the night of July 13, 2024, was no different.

TX Street Fights 2 posted a video to YouTube showing quite the fight between two girls.

They have each other's hair gripped so tight that they are practically immobile, locked together like two goats with their horns tangled. They do the best they can, throwing punches up, down, and side to side, trying to do something in their awkward entanglement.

Meanwhile, onlookers shout and watch, one man shouting “Pow!” each time they get a hit in.

They finally separate, both looking worn out and disheveled. Of course, they have to keep up the tough act as they mean mug and bad mouth each other from a distance.

I gotta say, as someone that has never been in a physical fight and never plans to get into one, I don’t understand why people resort to violence like this. However, I am curious what led to this fight. Did someone flirt with someone else’s man? Were they long-time enemies brawling it out? I guess we’ll never know.

The video also includes another fight that ends with someone getting tazed, but the most interesting part of that clip is the dude that was so committed to his pizza that he wouldn’t drop it and let his friend get beat up.
