ORLANDO, Fla.-- Disney workers are suing their employer, declaring they were fraudulently induced to move from California to Florida. The class action claim filed this week states the workers were informed they had to move to a new workplace school in Orlando just to have those strategies later on ditched in the middle of a battle between the home entertainment giant and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. In July 2021, the Disney Parks' chief informed workers in California that a lot of white-collar workers would be transferred to the new campus in Orlando to enable and consolidate various teams for greater cooperation. However those plans were nixed practically two years later.
